With two fine locations in Waimea and at the Queen's MarketPlace in Waikoloa, this wonderful restaurant serves authentic Thai food to everyone's delight. Known for it's made to order fresh preparation approach you can be rest assured that your meal will be as tasteful as possible. Curries, noodle dishes, and other combinations fill their large choice menu. There is something for everyone here at Charley's Thai Cuisine. A list of some of the most popular dishes includes, coconut shrimp, lobster mekong stir fry, refreshing green papaya salad, and last but not least the pad thai noodles. One additional menu option that is sure to please almost everyone is their mahi mahi glazed butter sweet chili.

The interior of Charley's Thai is decorated proudly with fine asian and thai flare. The paintings and statues add to the ambiance as well. It makes you feel like you are actually enjoying and evening in Thailand. The staff is super friendly and always ready to recommend their favorite and most popular dishes. Up in Waimea the setting is really great and super quiet. Located at a nice and cool elevation it's the perfect spot on a cool evening for a warm and hearty meal. Take out is also available and made fresh and ready to order to take home after a long day of work. This popular restaurant has some really nice reviews as it has established itself very well within the Big Island community.

If it is dessert that you are seeking the fried banana with ice cream goes really well at the end of an evening after your dinner. The portions are just right and some of them will actually leave you with taking home a to go box. Be sure to order the food at a spicy level that you feel comfortable with. The prices are very reasonable and affordable and really this is just another great place to try here in Hawaii. Try the tofu in ginger sauce or the noodles with chicken.
