The best place to eat fine dining in Waikoloa Village. The top chef who used to focus his career down at Four Seasons and at The Orchid at Mauna Lani. Many famous faces have frequented and continue to pour into this fabulous little place. Located right in the middle of Waikoloa Village this is the only restaurant open very late. Matter of fact if you are up for watching a sporting event like the Australian Open tennis or Super Bowl this place has it. They stay open as late as 1am. The bar with all the fantastic drinks is super stunning with it's wrap around seating. Because Pueo's is so popular you should make a reservation. The chef has won many awards and all of the food is great.

Enjoy a wood grilled pizza, calamari, or their fantastic spaghetti bolognese. Their lemon flavored chicken has a taste like no other, simply original and tasty. If you are lucky enough to become wonderful friends with the owners you may be offered some original in house made limoncello. Italian dining on the Big Island of Hawaii simply cannot rival this top of the line restaurant. It is by far one of the best in all of Hawaii. So many residents continue to stay loyal to this great place. One of their modo's at Pueo's Osteria is to serve super high end food at a reasonable price. This is evident in their pricing as you would pay double for this experience at some of the five star locations down in the resorts.

Pueo's was rated number 18 on the best restaurants in America list. How's that for this little Italian-Inspired eatery in little Waikoloa Village. They say that for those staying down in the resorts this is worth the trip up to the village. It is only about 10-15 minutes away depending on which resort you are driving from. Waikoloa Beach Resort would be the closest and Mauna Lani would come in as a close second. Mauna Kea and Hapuna Beach Resort are not too far away either. Kukio and Hualalai are an additional 15-20 minutes. At Pueo's the service is what really makes the place so fantastic. The waiters are very friendly and the staff is great. They have also won numerous diner's choice awards and been featured all over the place in such places as Honolulu Magazine.
