Additional Resources and Information:
You have to come to Johnny’s Waikoloa. The place to be after a round of golf at Waikoloa Village's community based golf course. With an amazing swimming pool and tennis courts adjacent to it, what more do you really need in life? The calamari rings along with the burgers are something that you simply cannot miss out on. Even their chicken wings will make your mouth melt. Prices are super reasonable and the views of the golf course are forever. This little place is located right next to the Waikoloa Village community center and golf club. Residents have been loving this neighborhood staple for generations because of it's late night hours and convenience to their homes. Waikoloa Village has some of the lowest HOA dues anywhere in the entire state of Hawaii. Adding this restaurant to it's portfolio only helps living here that much more appealing.
Beer with Halibut fish and chips. Does it get any better than this? Top it off with a fun afternoon of watching football on the big screen TV. This place welcomes everybody with open arms, young and old. In the evenings when other restaurants are super busy during the winter months with the snow birds visiting, this place still continues to amaze with it's quiet yet lively atmosphere. There are some really great condo opportunities across the street from it as well. One of them is gated even though the prices are over half a million dollars it makes luxury big island living super enticing. Absolutely one of the best places to eat on the entire island. You will not find better chili anywhere.
During certain holidays and days of celebration like Valentine's this place knows how to draw in it's patrons. Specials being offered is just one way they keep them coming back for more. The beautiful thing about it is that they stay open all day from 11am all the way until 10pm. This is rare because most restaurants in the village usually are open for lunch and early dinner or just dinner alone. Not a bad thing if you are in between doing something in the middle of the day and need a quick bite to eat. This is a casual dining place so not to worry if you are coming over from the pool or a morning/afternoon jog or walk. Hopefully more and more residents will come and bring their business to this fine Waikoloa Village establishment.
