Two of the most impressive mini resort vacation hot spots anyone could ever ask for when staying at over 4,000 feet above sea level on the side of an active Volcano. A dream come true for many.

Real estate in the volcano area is still considered very much attainable and comprehensive for the most part. What we mean by that is you can still purchased lots and build a custom home for well below the country's median price point. Some fantastic places in Volcano to eat have become so popular that not only visitors but local patrons from the other side of the island will drive over for the day just to have lunch. Volcano Village does have a gas station and then the next closest one is in Mountain View as you are headed towards in elevation towards Hilo. The Volcanoes National Park is one of the top attractions in the world. It comes in as the top 2 ranked most visited place in all of Hawaii. The caves are a must see and explore as is the crater when it is open for viewing. Even though the Volcano lava flow has been dried up for thousands of years a lot of it looks like it just occurred yesterday. A wonderful plant to is worth learning about and knowing more details on is the Hapu Fern. A beautiful green plant that is dispersed prevalently throughout most of the Volcano area. Bring your sweaters, sweatpants, and jackets as it tends to get very chilly and wet most times of the day and night in Volcano. For those who live here, when the sun comes out and shines it too is also a nice refreshing and much needed occurrence to see. Nature and wildlife are abundant here making Volcano one of the most famous places ever.
