Yelp - The Seaside Restaurant and Aqua

The Seaside Restaurant and Aqua Farm is famous on Big Island of Hawaii and it is one of our absolute top choices and recommendations for everyone. It is one of the oldest eateries originally from the Nakagawa Family that has served the visitors of Big Island Hawaii since the 1920s. Every generation of the family has worked on the Aquafarm and that's what makes it so perfect for the visitors and locals. The history of this place is surreal and amazing. The last son or owner of Aquafarm made some changes to make it more attractive regarding the decor and menu. It features the largest fishpond, which ranges to 30 acres, making it one of the most beautiful places in Hilo. For every traveler who wants to explore the Best ocean views and finest dining in Hilo, The Seaside Restaurant is a must see and experience not to be missed. Given its appealing location near Carlsmith Beach Park, the beaches and lagoons in this area will rival any others in the world in our personal opinion. The restaurant has seating arrangements for more than 175 people and three different rooms or halls. Quaint, yet luxurious and peaceful all rolled into one.

Food at Seaside Restaurant and Aqua Farm

The aquafarm seaside restaurant features the farm to table experience for every dish. It is the best thing to experience only in Hilo, Hawaii and The Seaside Restaurant and Aqua Farms delivers above and beyond all expectations. Every customer can select the food according to their taste and enjoy it with precious scenes. Many customers prefer to have their meal at the Keaukaha side, which is near the window and gives a perfect view of the Pacific ocean. They have several different varieties of fish and seafood dishes that you can enjoy. The master chef at the restaurant also declares that they raise their fish on their farm. As we already know, the large pond ranges to 30 acres, and it has different types of fish, including the tilapia mullet along with serving some fresh local bread. You can enjoy these fresh fish in pan-fried or various forms. In addition, the primary and unique difference in Aquafarm from all other seafood locales, is it's story and legacy of the grandparents. It attracts all customers to enjoy their favorite fish or seafood in a traditional and modern mixed environment. This place is a favorite for many locals in the area as well and has been cherished for years over.

Perfect for every seafood lover

It is the perfect place for seafood lovers who want to enjoy a fresh and authentic taste. The Aquafarm is the traditional restaurant from the grandparents to their sons and now to grandsons, so it has the perfect conventional taste and cultural representation. If you are a seafood lover, you will enjoy the delicious taste as they capture the fresh fish from their pond or nearby sea area and prepare them through modern techniques. It attracts locals and visitors to spend their time with aesthetic views and perfect ocean scenes. The restaurant team gives the ideal service and food quality that makes it more popular among visitors for their lunch and dinner desires. If you are going to be on the Big Island of Hawaii, be sure to visit but do make a reservation since it is a popular place. We have been dining there since our college days at UH Hilo.
