Trip Advisor - Kulaniapia Falls

A visit to Kulaniapia Falls will refresh your soul and mind. It has the most beautiful and eye-pleasing waterfall view that will not only leave you spellbound but will also accelerate positive energy. This place is utterly calm, peaceful and amazingly managed. Unlike other waterfalls in Hawaii, Kulaniapia Falls is privately owned and managed. But you don’t have to worry because though it is not a government property still you can easily visit this waterfall. All you have to do is to make a prior booking. You can also get a same-day booking at a raised price only if there is a vacant place for guests as Kulaniapia Falls has limited capacity. You can reach there in only a 15-minute drive from town but once you are at Kulaniapia it will feel like you are in another world. Kulaniapia falls is situated on an area of 42 wild natural acres. You can book a day tour thereby purchasing a day pass if you don’t have much time. The management gives overnight stay facilities as well.

Once you are at this place it is difficult to leave it in just one day so it is always better to make a night stay booking to enjoy and explore this place. Its’ Asian-style accommodation, great facilities, and hospitality make this place even more attractive. The staff is quite passionate and lovely and ensures that guests have the best time during their stay. During your night's sleep, you can enjoy the sound of falling water in the background which offers you a completely new feeling of living in cities and towns. It gives you a chance to connect with nature and enjoy the most serenity and purity. The most distinguishing feature of staying or visiting these falls is that a limited number of people are welcomed there every day, so you won't have to worry about over-crowding. The view of 4 breathtakingly gorgeous waterfalls pleases the eyes and souls of visitors. You can also explore the bamboo gardens.

Along with sightseeing, you can also enjoy delicious food items there. The farm-to-table food is served there cooked by local chefs to offer you pure Hawaiian cuisine. You can also learn cooking from the local chefs and learn their special tricks. You can also enjoy farm tours and explore the local farming spread on acres. There you can view rustic cabins, ocean views, and communal spaces. You can also enjoy the most exciting and adventurous activity of water rappelling there. The visitors and guests are given proper instructions along with necessary equipment for a safe descent of about 120 feet down the falls. It is a fun and thrilling activity and surely pumps up your adrenaline. When the weather conditions are favorable and river safety is ensured then you can also enjoy swimming, paddle boarding, and, kayaking. For these activities, there is no facility for lifeguards, so it depends upon your own choice whether you want to avail these or not.
