Hale Halawai Park is a waterfront park in Kailua Kona, Big Island Hawaii. It features a rocky beach, pavilion, grassy areas and community events. Hale Halawai Park is an open space for many different types of activities including hiking, biking, swimming, snorkeling and picnicking. The park also features volleyball courts and basketball courts. This park is located on a peninsula jutting into the ocean so you can enjoy the beautiful views from anywhere in the park. There are no lifeguards on duty at this beach so please use caution when swimming or snorkeling near shore! This is the perfect spot to spend a day surrounded by nature. You can go for a swim in the ocean or just relax on the beach with your friends. The pavilion is also available for group gatherings or weddings. The highlight of this park is its waterfront location, which offers spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean and Kailua Pier.
The wooden boardwalk leads to a small sandy beach with plenty of space to sit down and relax while enjoying the view. There are also picnic tables available if you want to pack your own lunch or eat some snacks before heading out on an adventure! You'll find plenty of parking spaces near the entrance for cars and trucks, but there aren't any bike racks available yet (they're working on getting them installed). If you're looking for a place to explore after dark, then this isn't it: all lights are turned off at nightfall so that no one gets hurt by tripping over something in the dark; however, if you show up early enough then you'll still have plenty of time left before sunset! Imagine a lush, tropical paradise where you can walk through the jungle to a secluded beach and spend the day swimming in the ocean.
Imagine a place where you can feel like you're in your own little world, surrounded by the beautiful sounds of nature and the gentle sounds of waves crashing on shore. Imagine that this place is right here in Hawaii, right near Kailua-Kona! That's what Hale Halawai Park is—a hidden gem of nature and relaxation. Imagine yourself on the beautiful, golden sands of Hale Halawai Park. The sun is warm on your skin, lapping up against the beach in gentle waves. The sky is clear and blue, with only a few wispy clouds floating by. A gentle breeze blows through your hair as you walk down the beach, enjoying the feeling of sand between your toes. You stop for a moment to look out at the water and watch as a school of dolphins leaps out of the water and into the air before splashing back down into the ocean. You smile to yourself as you think about how lucky you are to be here at this moment in time. That's what Hale Halawai Park is—a hidden gem of nature and relaxation.
