Playgrounds around the world will be reviled by this accomplishment located right here in sunny South Kona. A custom all wood build that has families and their kids coming back time and time again. A vacation in Hawaii is much more exciting than spending time at the playground when you are surrounded by white sand and blue water. If you are looking to mix thing up when it comes to having a good time, then Kamakana Playground should be your first port of call. There is a large playground located at Higashihara Park in the Big Island that is not only well-designed but also contains many Hawaiian touches. It is located at 7300 Kuakini Highway in Kailua-Kona, 96740, within Harold H. Higashihara Park in order to accommodate the needs of the local community, Kamakana Playground is open from 6 a.m., all the way to 8 p.m. every day. There are picnic tables that look like Hawaiian Islands at the playground in Hawaii as well as wall murals depicting tribal carvings, and a canoe replica.
When you are in the playground's wooden castle, you will instantly feel as if you are in a fairytale. Your keiki will be thrilled to make up stories about princes, princesses, knights, and jesters. You may be surprised at how much they enjoy doing so. According to our opinion, Hawaii has one of the best playgrounds in the world. On top of these attractions, the facility has a huge slide that takes guests through two and a half turns in the dark, another slide, a zipline, and a whale that is 22 feet tall and guests who can climb on. The children will also enjoy the separate children's play area, which is a great place for them to play. This park is a great place to have a great place to have great time with your kids, especially if there are swings, short slides, a train, and so much more. They look so adorable don't you think? The steam locomotives used in the trains are based on the steam locomotive that was used in the Kona Sugar Company back in the 1800s. The park itself has a number of pathways and tennis courts, as well as the views of the ocean which can be seen while walking.
It is possible to spend hours in the park without getting bored, and there are benches and tables that you can use to eat a snack or picnic lunch. No matter what you, or your child enjoys doing, whether it's playing in a jungle gym, swinging for quite some time as you swing or simply playing chess or checkers in the sunshine, Kamakana Playground is the place for you. There are many hotels located near Kamakana Playground including Kona Ohana Guest House, Holualoa Inn, Ka'awa Loa Plantation, Shell Vacations Club Holua Resort at Mauna Loa Village, and Belle Vue Kona B&B. Kamakana Playground is located near several restaurants, including Sugai Kona Coffee, Gypsea Gelato, Rebel Kitchen, and Kona Grill House.
