The tennis pros as this facility are of the highest and finest caliber. Most have either played on the pro tour or earned full tennis scholarships to prestigious colleges and universities. The wonderful aspect to this great location is that you can arrive on your vacation knowing the Hualalai tennis team is always ready to set you up for a good workout. One on one private lessons are booked each day if you desire to have one of the top pros analyze and advise accordingly to your game's needs.
Play to Pro - is a very unique and one of a kind offering. It has been going on for years. The way it works is rather then having the pro teach you during a private lesson, you can actually challenge the pro to play a set against you. If you win and beat the pro, the session is free. A great opportunity for the higher elite players who need a very solid workout. This also shows the high level of tennis the resort's teaching staff is able to offer. A true depth to the depth of the pros is more than just on display. These are the best of the best in tennis tudors available in all of Hawaii. Technique is just one aspect of becoming a good tennis player, talking strategy is another. That approach too is available here on site. 8 total rebound ace courts are available with two of them being lit for night session play. The tennis shop carries the newest tennis equipment available following the latest trends in design like Wilson, Head, Bobolat, and Prince. The Hualalai Sports club is right next door behind the main court for a swim or shower afterwards.
If you are simply looking to use the pro ball machine Hualalai has one that is state of the art. The staff also runs fun events and including social mixers, exhibitions, and kids clinics in the mornings. Both men's and women's group play is also offered. If you would simply like to be matched with a player at your level, be in 3.5, 4.0. or 4.5 this is something that will be easily taken care of for you. Just show up and be ready to play. The friendly tennis staff will connect you with another resident or visitor for a singles or even doubles challenge. Many pro tennis players have come through Hualalai tennis as place to stop and train. This location is super perfect for them due to the massive heat and hot sun.
