A luxury golfer's paradise that will leave you with lasting memories that may never again be matched. This is heaven. Kohanaiki Golf Course, located on the Kailua Kona coast officially opened in 2013 and it is one of the best courses on the island. One of Hawaii's single Rees Jones courses, the 18-hole Kohanaiki course is a mix of natural beauty with beautifully distracting scenery at times. A par-72, 7,329-yard golf course winds its way through greater than 100 acres of Palm Beach, offering six oceanfront holes along 1.5 miles of beach. It is both challenging and fun at the same time. Over the past few years, a high number of high-end golf communities have emerged on Hawaii's islands, and Kohanaiki swell-deserved place among the best Hawaii has. Kohanaiki's breathtaking ocean views, lush green grass, and state-of-the-art amenities, ensure that even the most discerning golfer won't be disappointed.
Private golf course, Kohanaiki Golf course is situated on a picturesque piece of land in Kona, on the island of Hawaii. As you play on this course, you will enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Hawaiian Islands as you take in the stunning ocean views, which are abundant on the course. There are a number of holes on the golf course that near the ocean, and the nine of the golf course will provide a beautiful, impressive backdrop, especially with the mighty waters rushing up against the shore. Golfers will appreciate the perfect condition of the course, as well as the Paspalum grass, ideal for saltwater climates, all of which contribute to a truly memorable golf experience on a seaside course. There is a lot to admire about the Kohanaiki Golf Club, which offers an appealing and well-designed golf course, in addition to impeccable service and a wide range of amenities.
Among Reese Jones' best courses, Kohanaiki is my personal favorite, making it a contender for the title of best course on the Hawaiian Islands. When you play here, you'll be amazed by the incredible views of the ocean, the top-notch amenities, as well as the nearly perfect conditions, which will allow you to improve and have fun at the same time, regardless of how good you at golf. It may be built on lava rock, yet it looks just as natural as any other old-style course, with sweeping fairways, just a handful of bunkers, but there are majestic Pacific Coast views all around, providing an incredible backdrop that will easily cause you to lose focus during your game. In order to preserve the course's pristine state and reduce operating expenses, Kohanaiki Golf Courses installed a solar desalination plant that produces 1 million gallons of water per day for the entire course to be watered.
