The Big Island's Highly Sought After Waikoloa Village Kohala Coast, Hawaii

At a time in this world when there is much uncertainty, one thing is certain. The Big Island of Hawaii continues to quietly and magnetically pull in those looking for solace and refuge away from the noise of the US mainland and more. The Kohala Coast is one of the happiest and sunniest places on earth. Rarely does it rain here with approximately 0.3 to 0.5 inches of rain per month. The sunsets are out of this world, and the beaches are the finest anywhere on the planet. The Kohala Coast is beyond special. Waikoloa Village located just 10 minutes from the main lower highway is home to one of the most thriving real estate communities in all of the Hawaiian Islands. A new shopping center is going in with the majority of the shops and stores nearing completion. An additional gas station and grocery store to follow in the future are all part of what the excitement is all about. The main road Paniolo Ave. has also been recently repaved with them city workers currently working on painting the lines. The center yellow lines are almost finished with the white side lines to follow.

Single family homes in Waikoloa Village have been taking off in price and it still does not look like there will be an end in site. Currently the lowest priced on on the market is just at $800,000 and the next one is listed at $850,000. After that, the 3rd active listing is priced at $1,399,000 for a newer construction 4 bedroom listing. The last active and 4th listing showing up in the Big Island Hawaii MLS system is a 3,500 square foot home priced at $1,650,000. At this time there are approximately 20 or so listings under contract and pending with accepted offers. Sales have been climbing aggressively as there is a housing shortage on this island and the buyer demand continues to flourish. One of the factors driving the prices up in the village is that comparable areas such as Waimea and Kailua Kona have also been reaching and superseding the $1 million mark in price. Condos for example along the major resorts on the Big Island that were once priced at $500,000 to $600,000 are now well over the $1.2 million range and escalating to new heights.

The new listing that we will be entering into the MLS next week is one of the most amazing Hawaiian fairy tale exotic style homes anyone could ever dream of. A serene oasis and tranquil getaway that will attract all of the pickiest and most unique buyers out there. The property has been maxed out to it's full potential with exquisite landscaping and lighting for the most perfect vacation style getaways imaginable. An asian and Balinese feel also add to the already much desired approach with some of the best fruit trees this island has to offer. Mango, lychee, starfruit, orange, lemon, lilikoi, tangerine, bananas, and we could not forget, papayas. Two papaya trees for that matter with one of them being the very desirable strawberry papaya. A private outdoor shower with hot tub overlooking dramatic valley style ocean views is your new home away from home. Fully sprinklered lawn with the finest green grass is complimented by tall privacy arecas, Hawaiian rockwalls, and custom wood carved gates. This property is by far one of the finest offerings to come to market in a very very long time.
