One Hawaii

Hawaii's Kohala Coast is presumably the last best kept secret when it comes to seclusion coupled with the finest oceanfront real estate anywhere in the world. The Hawaiian islands have emerged over time as one of the most sought after locations to live and retire in. The Kona side of the Big Island presents some of the finest weather and climate that you could possibly find. Tourism continues to thrive here in the Pacific and for many great reasons. With all that the world has endured in the last couple of years, Hawaii luxury homes and real estate continue to trend upwards in terms of price and scarcity. Those seeking refuge and isolation can come to find all of that and more right here in Hawaiian island chain. As the title says it - There is Only One Hawaii.

The History

Between 124 and 1120 AD Hawaii has claimed to have received it's first settlers - the Polynesians. Much has remained the same yet a lot has changed. The one beautiful aspect of the Big Island is that there are still remarkable areas where the culture and history continue to be preserved. The City of Refuge is just one of those historical areas which has maintained all that Hawaii has to offer. Towering living spaces and examples of tools used back in the day are proudly displayed throughout. Isolated for at least 500 more years, Hawaii civilization continued to rest undisturbed until the Europeans arrived via the British explorer Captain James Cook. In 1778 his groups had arrived and things had changed for better and for worse. Ultimately, Hawaii remains in our opinion as the last great place on earth. For those who appreciate it's history we know that it cannot be sustained without a true appreciation for it's - People.

The People

If you are looking to meet some of the nicest and most humbled people in the world, then look nowhere else then Hawaii. The spirit of Aloha lives on each day with charm evident through the peoples warmth. Love always has subsided in the islands with neighbors helping each other and living together in unity. With the population continuing to grow and increase the islands are starting to see a massive influx not only in the visitors but also those deciding to make Hawaii their permanent home. With so many different cultures being represented in Hawaii it is sometimes referred to as a boiling pot. What makes Hawaii so unique is that the people who call it home are those who have come from all over the world. All in all, it is the best place to live and the best place to be.

The Real Estate (Kukio and Hualalai)

We discuss Kukio and Hualalai because the Luxury Big Island brand stands behind something more than just real estate. It stands for the best and finest available. These two resorts are stand alone icons. Mauna Kea and Kohanaiki are not to be discounted but for the sake of resort style living at the highest and utmost level, Hualalai and Kukio are what we will focus on in this news blog at this time.
