Real Estate Typically Follows Waterfront Locations and The Big Island Is No Exception

Have you ever stopped to wonder what actually makes Hawaii so attractive. Is it the beaches, is it the topography, is it the mysterious location in the middle of the pacific. Or, maybe it is the beauty. The reality is that the real estate and it's prices usually follow. No other locations in the world can come close to what Hawaii's Big Island can offer it's investors and those seeking refuge away from the daily grind and noise portrayed in busier parts of the country. If you stop to analyze where the competition even makes a mark there really isn't any. Florida may come close with some of it's award winning coastlines but the 18 million plus people, coupled with snakes, alligators and hurricanes make it a bit less attractive than Hawaii.

Take it from someone who has lived in both locations. I was spending many years as a resident of Florida and during my adult time spent on the Sarasota and Naples coast at least I was able to ensure that I would be well rounded. The fear of a coastal hurricane for several months out of the year is not just something that people make up. It is a reality. Take it for what it is worth I remember living through two such scenarios where the sky was so dark and black that we thought the world was going to end. Florida is a special and beautiful destination but still my family and I choose Hawaii. There are pros and cons to both but I think the beaches of Hawaii and their remote layout is what does it for us at the end of the day.

We spend time at Hapuna weekly or bi-weekly if we can. It would also be nice to visit the black and green sand beaches on the Big Island a bit more often but they are a little bit further away for us. The Kohala Coast where we live and work is home to some of the most pristine white sands beaches anyone could ever ask for. This brings us back to the luxury real estate and homes associated with living on this side of the Big Island. Hawaii's top attractions are it's beaches by far. Sure the Volcano and Diamond Head bring in the tourism figures too, but nothing does it more than the ocean and it's coastal clear aqua like waters.

The truth to it all is that the Big Island in our views tops the list of best and remote beaches anywhere in the world. For this reason, we stand behind selling the luxury real estate that comes along with it. The prices may not be cheap, but you surely will receive what you pay for. We offer the best and private beachfront real estate anywhere on earth. Hawaii's Big Island is the last greatest place to find it.
