Condos like Kolea which is it's only oceanfront fee simple community are making a mark when competing with the likes of Mauna Lani and Mauna Kea Resort's luxury townhome living.

The many amenities and actual activities to keep visitors busy continues to draw the likes of Canadians, Californians and those from Seattle too. When it comes time to buy, the views are everything. Ocean views and units on the golf course seem to really demand higher prices than a simple unit with a garden view. If you find a property overlooking the pool it is just another fine reason to pursue it.

Choosing the right resort is one thing but more and more now we are seeing repeat visitors coming back wanting to buy this time around instead of renting. The best advice we have is to be selective and make sure that you find a unit that has great rental income if possible but more than anything, one with a million dollar ocean view.
