Certainly the most expensive of the 3 and for a good reason. The entire community sits below the main road (highway) and several of the homes within this oceanfront community sit directly on the ocean. Waterfront real estate in a secure Hawaii community abutting the pacific ocean is pretty much what it is. The homes that are build to each owners specifications do not come up short either. Exotic luxury mohagany and large tile work are all choices that the homeowners may be preferential to. Kohala Waterfront is the closest of the 3 to being on the water and to hearing whales singing in the winter months. A community that sets the selected few apart. There are two ways to enter through the private gates into Kohala Ranch. The top road and the bottom road. You will now need to have a realtor take you in as the security has tightened up on the rules. There are 3 spectacular sections inside the ranch providing all buyers with a choice lot to their liking depending on what type of elevation they are seeking. Down in the lower section you have a much drier portion as there is less rain but the views are much closer to the ocean. Higher up near the top the lots become larger in acreage including spreads of 10 acres is common.
