Additional Photos of Waikoloa Village's Newest Homes Coming to Market in 2019

The Waikoloa Village real estate market has taken off again and theres no sign of stoppage. I always said it and will mention it here again that at some point in the future there will be no homes left in the Village for under $1 million. Yes that is correct. There was a time back around 2003-2006 that you could purchase single family homes in Waikoloa Village for under $250,000. Now looking into 2019 as the year gears up we are seeing fewer and fewer listings for double that price and scarcity under half a million. Add an ocean view to it and you are going to wonder why the new $600,000 plus is a reality for this type of product. Here are some of the reasons besides the typical external factors affecting this market. There is nothing like the village anywhere on the Big Island. You can get to Hilo in an hour, Waimea in 30 minutes, and Kailua Kona in 40.

With Waikoloa Beach Resort right now below just 10-15 minutes away the vacation market is pushing prices up. The local residents that need a place to live are also finding solace in the village since the cool 1,000 foot elevation gives cooler breezes throughout. The Waikoloa Village future is certainly bright and the real estate continues to follow in it's footsteps. Be it condos, townhomes, single family, land, and even all of the above, buyers are calling us non stop looking for the next best deal. In just one week alone I have fielded at least 7 calls all related to mainland buyers wanting a piece of the Waikoloa Village action.

Below, are additional photos of what new construction homes are beginning to look like in 2019 at Waikoloa Village. This one is located near the top just below Elele St. With a community pool under going renovation and some really great schools for children to attend, the future of Waikoloa Village is increasingly improving. The only thing missing right now is a high school but that may be in the talks and works before we know it. Right now the residents high school teens are currently attending Kealakehe High School via bus transportation. Other residents who live in Puako and Mauna Lani Resort also have the added benefit of sending their kids on the bus to the elementary and middle schools in Waikoloa. What a great place for sense of community and to truly call home.
